Residential Unit Supervisor: Monarch Hall

Lifeworks is looking to hire a Unit Supervisor for our adult autism treatment unit, Monarch Hall. As the Unit Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of service coordination, delivery, and treatment of consumers to ensure advancement of the department and the Agency mission. You will also direct staff in all aspects of daily operations including case management, educational assistance, safety, and behavioral issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the program and staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and termination of employees.
  • In cooperation with Division Unit Supervisor, develop, administrate, and be responsible for the program budget.
  • You will coordinate the integration of other departments affecting the success of treatment programs and you will ensure adherence to established rules and regulations governing the operations of the Agency
  • Provide education and training to staff in best practices in working with adults with autism spectrum disorders including, but not limited to, daily living skills, pre-vocational, leisure, and self-care activities that are based on IPP goals and objectives
  • Evaluate, support, and/or enhance staff skills through supervisor meetings and direct observation.
  • Serve as Agency liaison and maintain appropriate relations with other departments, social service agencies, parent/guardians, and other professionals as well as participate in management and off-site Agency meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
  • Valid Ohio LISW, LPCC, BCBA, COBA, or Psychologist license preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Strong clinical skills including expertise in pervasive developmental disorders, functional analysis of behavior, behavioral management, crisis intervention, family education, and educational methods for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Proven experience in both clinical and administrative supervision.
