Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Band 7
Salary: £29,472.00 - £41,449.00 Per Annum, Plus St Andrews Clinical Allowance £1,641.00 per annum, pro
rata. (Dependent on Experience)
St Andrew's Nottinghamshire is a centre of excellence for male service users who present with learning
disability or autistic spectrum disorders and who require medium or low secure care.
We are looking to recruit a full-time Advanced Practitioner, specialising in learning disabilities
This is an excellent opportunity for a successful candidate to influence service development and to join a
creative team of dedicated clinicians.
We require experienced qualified clinicians to lead and develop the LD services. You will undertake
learning, teaching and research activities focusing on the area of secure mental health care. You will be
expected to develop and contribute to Nottinghamshire facility's learning and teaching activities related to
continuing professional development and inter-professional learning and research. You will provide
expertise in secure mental health care and relevant clinical skills based on current research evidence and
will make a contribution to advancing knowledge in this, or other related areas.
The successful candidate will have extensive specialist knowledge and experience in the field of LD.
As the key clinician you will focus on the key areas of Clinical Practice; Education and Teaching; and
Research and Evidenced based practice.
