This is a part-time seasonal contract position of Market Assitant for one or more of our weekly farmers' markets in Burnaby, West Vancouver, North Vancouver. The markets operate every Saturdays and Sundays, May through October.

The Market Assitant will support the Market Manager, assisting with market set-up, tear-down, posting signs around the area, reunning errends, interactiing with vendors, dealing with the public, and other market activities during the day. The Market Assistant is required to be onsite on the market day and perform duties as listed in the Farmers' Market Assistant Job Description

Basic Requirements (see Farmers' Market Manager Job Description for full list) 

• Drivers license in good standing
• Vehicle (ideally a truck or van)
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Related event assistant experience
